Project Summary:
1. The College of Visual Arts is a private, four year college of art and design. The school needed an easy-to-use site for prospective and current students, alumni, parents and donors that reflected its unique personality and excellent reputation.

2. Our success was measured by meeting CVA's communication goals for the site. We received extremely positive feedback from the client regarding the design and usability of the new site.

3. The site's target users are students -- both current and prospective.

4. The desired user experience is one that presents visitors with the information they need in a quick, appealing and intuitive manner.

5. Because CVA staff must update the site's content regularly, the site needed to be beautiful and extremely user-friendly and functional. Additionally, Larsen had to work within the confines of a tight budget.

6. Larsen began by compiling research completed by the college and touring the school and its facilities. Wireframes and storyboards were created, creative concepts were given approval, and the designs went into production.

7. The president of CVA reported an increase in the number of hits the site has received, as well as longer visitor sessions. Online admission applications were up by 300% after the site's launch.
